CNN Anchor Soledad O’Brien will be honored with the Mosaic Lifetime Achievement Award during the Diversity Women’s Business Leadership Conference taking place October 29-30th at The Gaylord Resort in National Harbor, Md. With the theme “Lead with Passion, Power & Profits,” more than 600 women business executives and leaders will come together to celebrate the 7th year conference that has evolved into the premier networking event for women of all races and cultures.
“When attendees leave the conference, they will feel inspired and empowered with the necessary resources and solutions to do their jobs better and pursue their dreams with renewed vision,” says Sheila Robinson, publisher Diversity Woman magazine and popular motivational speaker.
Robinson, who before becoming an entrepreneur was a marketing executive with DuPont, has always had a knack for helping others, especially working women. “It’s about encouraging and empowering; our dream can be right in front of us, often we allow fear to stop us from going after what truly is ours, we are committed to help women get past the fear and obstacles,” said Robinson.
Other Mosaic Women Awards Luncheon honorees include Lynn Tilton, CEO, Patriarch Partners (Mosaic Legend Award); Pat Harris, Global Chief Diversity Officer, McDonald’s Corporation (Mosaic Leadership Award); and Michele Kang, CEO, Cognosante (Mosaic Trailblazer Award).
