Walmart To Celebrate Black Friday With Three Events
Walmart recently released their sneak peek circular for the upcoming Black Friday shopping event, and it shows that three different sales will be taking place at all stores. Shoppers can view the circular on the official company website and on its Facebook page to help them plan their holiday gift shopping. Walmart’s deals are mainly focused on toys, electronics like TVs and clothing, as these three items are the most popular gifts given each year. The deals advertised in the circular will only be available during the events and only as supplies last.
The first event will take play in Home and Apparel and Toys at 10 p.m. on November 24th, Thanksgiving Day. Parents can pick up all of the toys and clothes their kids are craving this year for deeply discounted prices if they start shopping after finishing Thanksgiving dinner. At midnight as Black Friday itself begins, the sales in Electronics will go live. The rest of the gift discounts will be added at 8 a.m. November 25th. All discounts and sale prices will only be good until the end of the shopping weekend.
The change to a late night release schedule was caused by popular demand from customers. Walmart reports that more people would stay up late than get up extra early for Black Friday shopping. If you’d prefer to stay at home on Thanksgiving Day, you can still catch great deals at Walmart.com during breaks between turkey and stuffing. The shipping options are all free and include a range of speeds to ensure your gifts arrive well in advance of the holiday. Online deals include four Blu-ray movies for $20, electric riding toys for under $40 and big screen HDTVs below $400 delivered. In-store deals will include DVDs for under $2 and the Xbox360 Kinect for less than $200 with an additional $50 gift card on top.
