Sting to Hold Exclusive Concert at the Apollo
Sting’s new summer tour, Symphonicity, recently added extended performances in Europe after selling out in North America, Australia and Europe. Sting’s summer tour is called Symphonicity because Sting’s greatest hits have been re-engineered for the backing of a full symphony by Sarah Hicks.
To help kick off his new tour, Sting has announced that he will perform an exclusive concert at the Apollo Theater in New York on April 28th. Only fan club members will be able to purchase tickets to this event, and legacy members get access to the tickets an hour before other members. Tickets go on sale at noon on April 8th for legacy fan club members.
All members will be offered the opportunity to buy as many as 4 tickets, but the tickets will go on a first come, first serve basis for $75 each. VIP Packages will also be offered at $150 that guarantee a seat in the first 10 rows and a cocktail reception before the show begins in the Apollo Theater sound stage. The exclusive fan tickets will be purchasable through TicketMaster, but each fan club member will be assigned a unique code for accessing the special sales page. This was instituted to prevent ticket resellers and the general public from buying these exclusive tickets.
Any Sting fan can join the fan club now for access to the tickets when they go on sale. There are other benefits to fan club membership, including advanced access to tickets for other tours and events, never before seen videos and photos of Sting, contests that only fan club members can win and the chance to talk with Sting fans from around the globe.
