Harley-Davidson Introduces New Line of Iconic Motorcycles

The legendary American manufacturer of iconic motorcycles, Harley-Davidson, has just introduced a new model into their Softail line.

The Blackline motorcycle has been designed to provide a riding experience for younger riders who want a bike that they can grow into but not grow out of. The Blackline motorcycle is the new rebel in the famed Harley-Davidson stable that is the number one choice for American bikers in the 18 to 34 year old range.

The Blackline embodies the prime principles of motor cycling; the open road, powerful engines and mechanical beauty.

Harley-Davidson’s director for market research, Mike Lowney, says that this new model is much more than a bike; it is a youthful state of mind founded in irreverence and defiance of social custom.

The new Blackline model ignores social conventions of chrome and color and achieves a custom dark look that is functional and honest. The hand hewn and raw style of modern bike builders is combined with traditional visual elements to produce a bike that burns to be ridden hard.

Instruments on the Blackline are unobtrusive and compact while the midnight black body parts glow with an inner fire. The fenders on the bike are chopped and the handlebars feature a split drag, narrow design giving the Blackline a lean and fast nature and its name.

The engine is a Big Twin decked out in deepest black and silver chrome with machining that brings back memories of past Harley’s from the 1930’s through the 1950’s.
