The shopping frenzy and deep discount of Black Friday may be done and gone, but Cyber Monday is still running high. As consumer spending over the internet has increased steadily each year, retailers are focusing just as much on their e-commerce outlets as their retail stores. Cyber Monday is the big shopping day of the season for people who plan to buy gifts through their computer instead of waiting in lines and jostling for a limited stock of the hottest gifts. Many retailers this year are expanding the discounts and special deals they are offering online throughout the week following Thanksgiving, making it a Cyber Week promotion instead of just Cyber Monday.

Amazon is kicking off this internet shopping showdown with huge savings that rolled out Monday morning. The new Kindle Fire will be available for just $199, and many of the seasons other hottest electronic gifts will also see deep discounts. The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V 10.2 MP Digital Camera will be marked down by over $150, to a final price of just $199. Video game fans will love finding the Microsoft Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Bundle under their tree this year. It comes with both Fable 3 and Halo Reach for under $200. Many Hasbro and VTech games will also be discounted by 50% or more.

Toys’R’Us has rolled out thousands of discounted items for Cyber Monday, with nearly everything on the hot toy list for 2011 marked down by at least 20-30%. The chain will be shipping all items ordered today for free as long as the order total is greater than $49. Outdoor play items like bouncy balls, play sets and jungle gyms are all marked down 30%, totally savings of over $300 on many larger items. Pillow Pets are one of this year’s most popular gift choice for children, and Toys’R’Us has discounted their entire line by 50% for people shopping online. Many electronics like MP3 players and tablets are marked down by as much as 80% as well.

Walmart offered some of the lowest prices on Black Friday, and they’re continuing that trend into Monday’s shopping. The Element 32” LCD HDTV is down to $209, and ships free to the buyer’s home. For kids, the Wooden Train and Activity Table is a big gift that costs under $60 and ships for free as well. Keep your favorite nephews or nieces busy for months with the massive 1,600 piece Lego Building Set for $39, the NEXT 20” Kid’s Bike for $44.

Target’s Cyber Monday deals focus on toys and electronics like other retailers, but also offer a wide selection of discounted clothing, home accessories and kitchen appliances as well. If you’re shopping for a cook, pick up the Oster 22 Quart Stainless Steel Crock Pot for $30, a $30 discount over the in-store price. Selected DVDs, including The King’s Speech, are available for $7.99. The new Polaroid Instant Camera is also available at Target in time for Christmas with a Monday markdown of 22%, bringing it to $69.

Lowe’s is offering 200 deeply discounted items for Monday’s shopping event, including some of the best brand name tools that they sell. Home repair fans can pick up a complete Dewalt 4 Tool Set that all use the same rechargeable batteries for only $249. The set will retail for $389 once the special sales event is over. The Dewalt 18-Volt Cordless Drill has been reduced by 50% for a final price of $99. Crafters will enjoy the fine detailing bits that come with the Rockwell Sonicrafter 72-Piece Oscillating Tool Kit, which is 80% off for $99 as well. Anyone can enjoy the Garden Treasures Steel Fire Pit in their backyard, and it’s available for $39.

Kohl’s is rolling out discounts of 10-80% on everything they sell online, and then on top of that is offering an additional 20% off the entire purchase. Free shipping is also available with no minimum purchase. Fine jewelery has some of the deepest discounts, with a 10k White Gold Diamond Pendant and Earring set that normally sells for $1,300 available for under $450. A 3 piece pearl necklace and earring set is also available for $29, with a regular retail price of over $100. Outerwear is also marked down between 40 and 50%, making now the perfect time to buy a new coat or jacket for your loved ones.

Kmart has already made headlines for some of its holiday gift sales, but their Cyber Monday offerings make the deals even sweeter. Shoppers can pick up a $5 instant award card for every $50 they spend online and in stores, and Kmart is accepting a wide range of payment options including Paypal, Kmart’s classic layaway, and eBillMe. All Coby brand flat screen LCD TVs are marked down, with the 15” panel LCD only $99. The Garmin Nuvi 1300 GPS System comes with a wide range of accessories and pre-loaded maps for all cities for $104. Video games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 have been reduced from $60 to just $19. Some select Wii and Nintendo DS games are down to $9 and $14.

Sears is randomly dropping an extra 5-20% discount on all of their discounts for Cyber Monday once the items have been added to the shopper’s cart. This adds an extra air of excitement to the gift buying process. The Maylong Tablet comes with a travel sized keyboard for $99, making it one of the most affordable tablets available this year. The Wii Console Package with Mario Kart and racing attachments is $149, marked down from a full retail price of over $300. Sears has also discounted home appliances like a wide range of dishwashers for under $700. The chain is also offering a number of built-in electric stoves for under $500.

Shoppers that missed out on some of the discounts and special sales on Black Friday can still take advantage of Cyber Monday without leaving home. Some of the discounts made on these retailers sites are better than what was available when the crowds were fighting in their retail stores. Most of these websites are cutting back on the number of sale items when Monday ends, so check each retailer’s website for details on when these prices will no longer be available.
