Burger King Opens New Concept Location in Times Square

Burger King has opened a new concept restaurant in New York.  The Whopper Bar is located at 561 Fashion Avenue in Times Square.  The new restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  The drawing card for the restaurant is the innovative creations it has for the world-famous Whopper.

True their “Have it Your Way” motto, Burger King hopes the restaurant will serve as a proving ground for introducing new and exciting foods the company creates.  Anything at the dine-in restaurant can be ordered to fit your specific wants.  The burger giant anticipates that the restaurant will help introduce new foods and recipes to the market, allowing the company to gauge the demand for new products before introducing products on a nationwide level.

The first of the innovative products Burger King will introduce to the New York market is a tribute to the city.  Burger King will begin serving the NY Pizza Burger in early September of this year.  The massive pizza burger is meant to be shared and sold by the slice the company has said.  Burger King has tried to combine the best of the burger world with the best of the pizza world with the concoction.  The burger pizza will be made from four flame-broiled Whopper patties and served on a 9 ½ -inch sesame seed bun.  The burger can be topped with traditional pizza toppings like pepperoni, sausage, and mozzarella cheese.

The restaurant will also serve a number of premium menu items not available at other Burger King locations.
