Anyone who’s made losing weight one of their New Year’s Resolutions will be excited to hear that Atkins Nutritionals Inc. has developed a new campaign to help everyone achieve a quick weight loss goal or find a new healthy eating system that will sustain them for a whole lifetime. A free weight loss kit explaining the Atkins system will be available, and the campaign will be supported by print and media advertising, online interactive campaigns and a special chef recipe collaboration. Atkins favorite celebrity spokesmodel Courtney Thorne-Smith will return for the campaign.

The kit will contain all of the most important information about the Atkins system, as well as three free meal bars, a special recipe booklet created by partnering chefs, a pocket sized carb counter and much more. Advertising campaigns will focus on the “Lose 15 Pounds in Two Weeks” tagline. The Atkins.com website will expand their support, tools and recipes available for free as well to help anyone who decides to try the nutritional system.

Five expert chefs have been asked to help with the program and have contributed tasty and varied recipes for the booklet included in the kit, as well as featured on the website. Ian Clark of Centro Latin Kitchen & Refreshment Palace, Mike Isabella of the in-development Grafiatto, vegan chef Mark Reinfeld, Simpson Wong of the upcoming restaurant Wong, and Lynn Rinaldi at Paradiso were all including in this project. The recipes include vegan, Latin, Asian and Mediterranean influences while remaining low carb and delicious.

The Atkins Nutritionals Inc. system works equally well as a short term diet for losing 15 to 20 pounds quickly, or as a lifelong eating system for better health.
